（特集）動かない動物園　第一章　誕生の裏話

そもそも、どうして「動かない動物園」を作ろうと思ったのか？
第一章では、まずその誕生のきっかけをお話ししたいと思います。

First of all, why did I decide to create a “stationary zoo”?
In Chapter 1, I would like to start by telling you how it came about.

川西市には、すぐ近くの伊丹市にある昆虫館やプラネタリウム、池田市の五月山動物園のような、
楽しめるスポットがほとんどありませんでした。
「だったら、自分たちで何か名物になるようなものを作れたらいいな」
と思い立ち、最初にONLY ONE本社の前に大きな動物のオブジェを置いたのが、すべての始まりでした。

Kawanishi City had few fun spots like the insect museum and planetarium in nearby Itami City , or
Satsukiyama Zoo in Ikeda City .
“So we thought, ‘It would be nice if we could create something that would become a local specialty,'” we thought, and that’s when we first placed a large animal sculpture in front of ONLY ONE’s headquarters, and that’s how it all began.

もともと弊社は、地域に根ざした不動産会社として、社会福祉協会への寄付や募金、地域イベントの開催、地元のスポーツ活動への協賛など、さまざまな地域貢献に取り組んできました。
そんな中で、
「もっとご近所のみなさんに楽しんでもらえることがしたい」
という気持ちから、「動かない動物園」と名付けた動物オブジェを、ONLY ONEブランドのマンションの前に展示することにしました。

Originally, as a real estate company rooted in the community , we have been working on various contributions to the community , such as donating and collecting funds for social welfare associations, hosting local events, and sponsoring local sports activities . In the midst of this, with the desire to “make things more enjoyable for the locals,” we decided to display an animal sculpture that we named “a stationary zoo” in front of the ONLY ONE brand apartment building.

その後は、小花園や三田園など展示の場を少しずつ増やしていき、宝塚市平井では阪急電車の線路沿いに土地を購入して、ちょっと大きめの「平井園」もオープンしました。

After that, the number of exhibition spaces was gradually increased to include Obana Garden and
Sanda Garden , and in Hirai, Takarazuka City, land was purchased along the Hankyu Railway tracks and the slightly larger Hirai Garden was opened.

今では「動かない動物園」は、小さなお子さんを連れたご家族や、スマホ片手に訪れる若い方々など、いろんな方が自由なスタイルで楽しんでくださっています。

ご近所の保育園ではお散歩コースにしていただいているようで、時々聞こえてくる園児のみなさんの楽しそうな声に、私たちスタッフも癒されています。

Now, the “Stationary Zoo” is enjoyed by many people in their own way, including families with small children and young people with smartphones in hand.

It seems that the neighborhood nursery school uses it as a walking course, and we staff are also soothed by the happy voices of the children that we can hear from time to time.
